CAST: We all change
straight 8 began in london in 1999. it’s now a global filmmaking challenge that thousands participate in every year. This year, I had the pleasure of starring in Zak Fenning’s entry in a film called: ‘We All change’.
The competition:
to make a 3-minute original film on just one roll of super 8
editing only with each pull of the super 8 camera’s trigger, with no opportunity for retakes or postproduction
submitting an original soundtrack without even seeing the film
If chosen as a winner, the film is SCREENed aT cannes film festival and bfi imax london IN MAY
The film
I played the part of Joan Green in this competition entry and I had an amazing time. Without giving away spoilers, zak has expertly created a one-take horror classic, with old-school SFX techniques and some very carefully Choreographed fight scenes.
I played the lead in this one, and I am so excited to see how this does in the competition!
